General areas of research: - Electrochemistry of biological objects.
- Development of electrochemical methods of analysis of bioaffinity interactions.
- Development of methods for analysis of bioaffinity interactions for medical diagnostics with the use of one-dimensional structures.
- Researches in the area of nanocomposite material construction for bioelectrochemistry.
- Researches fin the area of nanowires molecular detectors.
Laboratory possesses modern electrochemical equipment for bioelectrochemical researches, analytical electrochemistry, analysis of nanocomposite electrode materials.
Educational and research work. Collaborators of laboratory give lectures in the network of the specialization course “Actual Problems of Modern Biomedical Chemistry” in the Medico-Biological Faculty of Russian State Medical University (MF RSMU). Students of this faculty undergo a training and degree work on the basis of laboratory. The best graduate students continue the postgraduate education as PhD Students of Russian Academy of medical sciences (specialization field - 03.00.04 “Biochemistry”).
Graduate works and theses performed on the basis of laboratory. Laboratory takes active part in scientific conferences.
PhD. Suprun E.V. took the third place in the Second International Competition of Scientific Papers in Nanotechnology for Young Researchers in the network of the Second Nanotechnology International Forum (Moscow , 2009) and received honorary Forum diploma. On the VI International conference Molecular medicine and biosafety (Moscow, 2009) Suprun E.V. took 1st place in the Competition of Young Researches and was awarded with diploma of the conference. Rudakov Yu.O. was awarded with the diploma for the best methodic approach on the VI International conference Molecular medicine and biosafety (Moscow, 2009).
