Laboratory of Systems Biology
ABOUT LABORATORY
| Laboratory of Systems Biology of Institute of Biomedical Chemistry of Rus. Acad. Med. Sci. has been organized in December 2007.
Dr. Victor Zgoda is the Head of Laboratory of Systems Biology of IBMC. He leads a group of 9 researchers from biochemistry, chemistry and computer science.
Research is focused on application of high throughput technologies towards a better understanding of biological systems and processes. Full-genome transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics are the basic approaches that we used to study protein-protein interactions and effect of drugs (biologically active compounds) in animal and cell line model experiments. Recently the project of metabolomics, proteomics and transcriptomics of HL-60 cell line induced differentiation has been lunched.
The major equipment includes LC-MS Agilent ChipCube – Q-TOF, Ion Trap XCT Ultra, and QQQ; BioRad Electrophoresis equipment, Agilent Gene Array Scanner, Beckman ultracentrifuges. Phone: +7 (499) 246-84-65 |
