The Main Scientific Interests: - Asparaginases screening in microorganisms, construction of highly efficient producers of bacterial L-asparaginases, optimization of expression and purification of these proteins
- Study of substrate specificity, structure, kinetics and physical-chemical properties of bacterial asparaginases.
- Study of the cytotoxic antitumor activity of recombinant bacterial asparaginases and its modified derivates in vitro for human leucosis cells resistant to bacterial asparaginases.
Educational and scientific activity
The students of several Moscow Universities (Medico-Biological Faculty of Russia State Medical University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Academy of Fine Chemical Technology, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy, Skryabin Moscow State Academy of Veterenary Medicine and Biotechnology) have prepared their degree works in our laboratory. The best graduates continued their studies in the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences as biochemistry postgraduate students.
