Due to research in the field of bioinformatics, carrying out at the Institute of Biomedical Chemistry RAMS, unique software products have been developed. They allow to determine biological activity of chemical compounds, conduct search for new drugs, and vaccine construction.

Special databases on the properties of chemical compounds and peculiarities of their interaction with metabolic systems of human organism have been collecting for more than 10 years. Scientific services are provided by the Institute at the basis of the Open-access center “Postgenomic Technologies Center”. The Center offers the following services: mass-spectrometric proteins identification, olygonucleotide and peptide synthesis, gene-typing, transcriptomic profiling, cellular sorting, etc.

The opening of “Postgenomic Technologies Center”allowed to define the services interesting not only for research teams but also for a wide range of customers. The list of services includes: therapeutic drug monitoring, allowing selecting a correct drug dosage with consideration of individual patient characteristics; mass-spectrometric wine card, allowing defining of counterfeit alcohol production at molecular level.
